What we write about

We write about veneers, crowns, bonding, whitening and the practical side of having cosmetic dental treatment in Turkey. Topics come from the questions UK patients ask us by message and in consultations. We do not write about treatments we do not understand well enough to explain, and we do not chase search terms with thin pages.

Sources

• Health and safety facts come from the NHS, the Oral Health Foundation, the General Dental Council and GOV.UK.
• Clinical figures, such as how long veneers last or how often they chip, come from published research, usually systematic reviews. We name the study and link to it.
• Prices and guarantees are Precious Dental's own published figures, kept in one place and shown with the month they apply to.
• Material names such as E-max are used only to identify products. We are not connected with any manufacturer.

Medical review

Every page that describes treatment, risks, healing or aftercare is read by Dt. Hüseyin Yavuz Özbek, Dentist — Implant Surgery & Prosthetics, before it is published and when it changes. He works at Precious Dental, so the review checks accuracy, not independence. See the editorial team.

Facts and opinion

When we say "we", it is the clinic's view. When something is a fact, it has a source. When the evidence is thin, we say so rather than round it up into certainty.

What we never do

• Publish invented reviews, patients, quotes, awards or statistics.
• Show AI-generated teeth or results as if they were real patients.
• Claim to be independent or neutral.
• Hide a price change: when a price changes, the page date changes too.

Updates

Each page shows the month it was last updated. We review prices whenever the clinic changes them and the rest of the site at least once a year, or sooner if guidance changes. Found a mistake? See corrections.
