The veneers trip to Antalya, day by day

Veneers usually need one visit. Here's what a typical stay looks like, and how to plan around it.

Short answer

Veneers usually take one trip. With us, porcelain veneers and E-max take about 5 to 7 days in Antalya and composite veneers 2 to 3 nights; zirconia crown packages include 5 nights. Day one is the examination and design, then preparation, a few days while the laboratory works, a try-in and the final fitting. Book a flexible return in case anything needs adjusting.

How long to stay

TreatmentTypical stay with us
E-max laminate or full veneersAbout 5 to 7 days (packages include 6 or 7 nights)
Zirconia crowns5 nights
Composite veneers2 to 3 nights

At home, the Oral Health Foundation notes that veneers usually take more than one visit: one to prepare the teeth and take impressions, and one to fit the veneers once the laboratory has made them. In Antalya those visits happen within a single stay.

Before you fly

  • Send clear photos of your smile, and any recent X-rays, for a first opinion
  • Tell us about your health and any medicines
  • Get your plan and price in writing; it's confirmed at your examination
  • Book a flexible return flight, and travel insurance

A typical porcelain veneers stay

This is a typical pattern, not a promise. Your own schedule depends on how many teeth are treated and what your examination finds.

  1. Day 1: Examination and designCheck-up, panoramic X-ray, photos and a digital design of your new smile. You agree the plan, tooth by tooth, before anything is done.
  2. Day 2: PreparationUnder local anaesthetic, teeth are prepared and scanned. Temporaries go on so you can eat and smile normally.
  3. Days 3 to 5: LaboratoryYour veneers are made. These are free days; most people rest and see a little of Antalya.
  4. Try-inYou see the veneers in your mouth and check shape and shade before they're bonded. This is the moment to speak up.
  5. FittingVeneers are bonded, your bite is checked and adjusted, and you get care instructions.
  6. Final checkA last look before you fly. Ask for a written summary of your treatment for your UK dentist.

Composite veneers: a shorter stay

Composite is built up directly on the teeth, so there's no laboratory wait. After the examination and planning, the bonding itself is usually done in one longer appointment, with a check before you leave.

After you're home

Expect some sensitivity for a few days. Keep up careful cleaning and book a check-up with your UK dentist. If anything feels wrong, contact us straight away. See looking after veneers.

Common questions

How long do I need to stay for veneers?

With us, about 5 to 7 days for porcelain veneers, 2 to 3 nights for composite and 5 nights for zirconia crowns. Treating many teeth, or needing other treatment first, can add time.

Is the hotel included?

Yes, in our packages: the hotel for the nights shown, airport and clinic transfers and a panoramic X-ray. Flights are not included.

Does getting veneers hurt?

Teeth are numbed with local anaesthetic for preparation. Some sensitivity for a few days afterwards is common.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, many people do. Ask us about the hotel room when you book.

An honest second look

Not sure what your teeth need?

Send us a few photos of your smile. A dentist looks at them and tells you plainly whether you need veneers, crowns, whitening, bonding, or nothing at all.
