Medical disclaimer
This site explains veneers in general. Only a dentist who has examined you can say what your own teeth need.
General information, not advice
The pages on this site describe veneers, crowns, bonding and whitening in general terms. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a plan for your teeth or a price for you. Two people with similar-looking smiles can need quite different treatment, depending on their gums, bite, old fillings and enamel.
Photos are a starting point
A dentist can give an opinion from photos, but a final plan needs an examination and, usually, an X-ray. A plan made from photos alone may change once a dentist sees your teeth in person.
Before you decide
- Ask for a written plan that names each tooth, the treatment, the material, the risks and the alternatives.
- Tell the dentist about every medical condition and medicine, including blood thinners and anything for osteoporosis.
- Talk to your UK dentist before you travel. The NHS checklist for treatment abroad covers the questions to raise.
If something goes wrong
In Turkey, call 112 for an ambulance. Back in the UK, dial 999 for an emergency or NHS 111 for urgent advice. Swelling that spreads, a high temperature, or trouble swallowing or breathing need urgent medical help wherever you are.
Prices and guarantees
Prices and guarantee periods are given as published on the date shown and can change. A binding price is the one in your written plan after an examination. You can read Precious Dental's full guarantee on its guarantee page.
Who is responsible for your care
Responsibility for your treatment lies with the dentist who carries it out. This site, its writers and its reviewer are not responsible for decisions you make based on general information here.
Not sure what your teeth need?
Send us a few photos of your smile. A dentist looks at them and tells you plainly whether you need veneers, crowns, whitening, bonding, or nothing at all.
